My Skincare Products/Routine!

Heeeey!

So tonight I thought I would show you all about my skincare, but before I start.. here's my history: I started getting pimples when I was around 9 and they really set in when I was around 11. I felt so gross and self conscious that I begged my mum to find me something to get rid of them! We went to my local chemist and I got Dr. Lewinns stuff. It didn't work. At all. After a long time of not using anything I finally persuaded my mum to purchase Proactiv (after a few months). So I started using that and it actually worked! My face when from a red desert with mounds EVERYWHERE to a rather flat less red desert with only a few mounds here and there. But then nothing happened from there. It took about a year or two for it to get to the point where it just stopped so after a while I decided to just stop using it all together and go to the easiest option - make-up wipes. All up until I found these products!

I now use the Natio Young range and I love it!

I decided to purchase it on whim and could not be happier! I've even persuaded my cousin to start using it.

I start by getting all of my hair off my face..

Then rinse my face with warm water and leave it damp, ready to apply about a bean sized amount of the cleanser. I just massage this into my skin.

After I feel my face is cleansed, I wash it off and pat my face dry.

This step, exfoliating, I only do twice a week; usually on a Sunday night and any other night I feel a bit blah.

I just massage it into my damp skin in circular motions, mostly, and then rinse it off and pat dry again.

Now I get a cotton pad, put some toner onto it and sweep it over my face.

After the toner has absorbed into my skin I simply moisturise!

And that's that!

I LOVE these products, they leave my skin feeling so incredibly soft and clean!

School, oh school..

So hello there, guess what tomorrow is?! Wednesday!

But it's also my first day of school, for the last time. That's right, tomorrow I start year twelve. My final year. My sixteenth year of schooling..

So before I embark on my journey, I thought I would do a post on some pictures that I found to do with school, sort of. Nothing too interesting but they do inspire me a little bit.

Tomorrow marks the beginning of the end, and when I walk out of my final exam at the end of the year.. That will be THE end of the first chapter of my life. How. Scary.

I'm currently laying on my bed admiring my new Sportsgirl ring as I type... That's right .. I Failed.

It started oh so innocently yesterday with one small purchase that I had been going over for the duration of my six hour shift, and when it was over I was in such a shit mood that I felt that I needed to buy something. So I did. First Mistake.

When I got home I went onto Sportsigl.com.au, innocently window shopping.. not planning anything. Second Mistake.

I found a bag that I literally HAD to have, it's one of those 'need' things. Believe it or not this actually rarely happens to me, but when it does.. It REALLY does. So I went into my Sportsgirl store today in search of the bag. Third Mistake.

I had promised myself that that would be my one and only purchase, but it wasn't in my store. I should have walked out with nothing. But then I went over to the sale section and saw this ring. This amazing ring that is now on my finger.. Along with some other goodies.

So let's face it guys, as much as I would like to stick to a shopping ban, while i'm doing them I feel like I'm torturing myself. Which is not good.. So I have a new plan!

My mum is an accountant, so as soon as this is posted I'm going to sit down with her and make myself a budget. A budget that I'm going to stick to.. Rain, hail, shit mood or big bank balance!

261211; Day Seven

Boxing Day sales...

Luckily, I was working! Or unluckily, considering how hectic and crap it was! But anyway, at least even though I was surrounded by sales I didn't have the energy to even think about buying things. So instead, I focused on picking stuff off the floor that people carelessly chuck around the store.. fun times!

I did however try on a midi skirt... looked absolutely ridiculous on mind you! I can tell now why we have tonnes left! the cut is all weird and... poofy?

I'm not going to lie to you, I did buy two things today. One of which I had been planning on buying for a long time - a new alarm clock/iPod dock. I haven't had an iPod dock for about two years now (cringe), so I thought it was time a I picked one up - for $29, pretty cheap. And just as I was leaving with my one and only purchase I saw that CLEO had a money saving issue, so I picked that up too!

It's Christmas Day! Not that I celebrate today or anything... But it's still exciting!

Even though i'm 17 turning 18, Santa has still made his way into my house every year. Leaving me some goodies under the tree! But this year was different... My cat waltzed into the bathroom this morning with an envelope tied onto her collar, it was a card from her! It was too cute xD Along with a factorie gift voucher! I have the sweetest cat..

But do you know what a gift voucher means?! It means I can shop guilt free! Because I'n not actually spending my money! WINNER!

Apart form that this morning, all my family did today was go on a short little road trip to the middle of nowhere and back, like we usually o every Christmas Day. And because none of the shops were open minus a petrol station here and there, no temptation whatsoever! (online wasn't tempting because I wasn't home most of the day)

Today is my Christmas! I'm half Danish so we celebrate Christmas on the 24th instead of the 25th!

I love Christmas! My favourtie part, if I'm being honest is setting the table.... I love it! I get to be so creative and ah! It's too much fun!

Basically we have soooo many traditions that we follow so I love it. It's the one day of the year that we actually embrace everything Danish; the food, the decorations, the real tree, the present giving, the dessert - everything! I'll put up a separate post of photos later on :)

I love all my presents, and I'm s thankful for them! I'll be doing a Christmas Haul on my channel, but only of the things I bought myself plus on proper present!

What can I say about this day? Nothing...

I had work again - working all the time thanks to Christmas! But anyway, again I was tempted by not only the same bikini I was the other day, but now the block colour ones that I've been eyeing off have gone down in price. ARGH!!!!!!!! I just want to buy them :(

But I shan't! Luckily, this was my last day at work until boxing day so I will not be tempted again! Yay!

I started the day out stronger than ever - at home, not going anywhere where I could be tempted to spend. All was going well, I distracyed myself with cleaning my room, painting my nails, filming and editing a video (up soon) and getting stuff ready for Christmas!

I also finished the book that inspired this whole Shopping Ban! Quickest I've ever finished a novel! It's so good! Definitely one of my favourites.

When the time came to go to work I packed up all my stuff (or so I thought) and set off. When I got to work I realised that I forgot my shirt... CRAP.

So I had to buy a top from work to wear for that shift, there goes that money. But I guess it's a good investment for work rather than wearing uniform all the time... And I can wear it else where too! Totally justified!

But still... BAD BEC.

211211; Day Two

Okay okay, today I made some massive improvements and changes!

Starting with this morning - I went into the city with my sister to finish off her Christmas shopping (risky for me, I know). And instead of buying something, I... wait for it... cancelled a lay-by! WOAH! But still... baby steps xD

Being the amazing sister I am, I shouted my sister and nephew lunch (my niece doesn't eat yet... :p ) which cost me less than the amount I got back on my lay-by! Score! (It was a new lay-by, so not much was paid off). I will admit that carrying around my sisters shopping did help me and make me feel as though I'd been shopping, even though I hadn't...

As for the change - when I got home I got straight to work! I took everything off my shelves and desk and rearranged that area of my room! I even turned my shelves on their sides and stacked them on top of each other! So creative.. xD Haha. I also made my cork-board into a 'fashion'/'inspirational'/'mood' board.. Just for a bit of fun.. :)

So as most of my experiments, day one I was perfectly find spending no money. It's just like a normal day*cough*.. Although at work tonight I was tempted by a few new sweaters that came in, a sleeveless shirt and a few bikinis... Never the less I stuck to my dream, and became the first ever grain wave chip!! But not really, I'm just a girl who spends way to much money on crap I don't wear...

Speaking of crap I don't wear, the bag of clothes that I'm donating is still in the spare room.. Tempting me to take a peep and put it all back in my wardrobe, but I won't! I can't!

Inspired - Join me on my venture!

So today I got a book out from the library. I never go to the library, ever. But today whilst I was just having a 'me' day in the city I thought 'What the heck, I'll have a look'. So I went in looked around, found nothing, and searched 'shopaholic' into the system... Well, I found this book; this diary. In The Red by Alexis Hall is 'The diary of a recovering shopaholic.'

I got it late afternoon and am already on page 74, with another 200 pages to go mind you. But seriously, just reading that far into the book (day 110) I am already totally inspired! So much so that I just finished going through my wardrobe, for about the 100th time, the difference being that this time I actually got rid of/gave away about a quarter of my clothes! A quarter!

Now after doing that, for the next 30 days(which is nothing compared to the 365 in the book!) I am not buying clothes/shoes/accessories. I know I know, I've said this before. But this time I mean it. Today before finding this book I bought the dress I'm going to be wearing to my friend's 18th (which falls within the 30 days), so I won't be tempted to buy one for it.

I will only be spending money on food, transports, presents, toiletries and ONE magazine. END OF... I do however have one exception... If my Mum and I go to Melbourne for a 'Girls Weekend', I will allow myself to spend only a certain amount!

So for the next 30 days, expect to see a small post a day about this venture of mine!

So I got the Jeffrey Campbell Lita in Black Leather! I purchased them off nastygal.com for $157.91AU, and I also paid around $35AU for priority air mail so I could get them within 1 - 2 weeks! Well worth it! However, my mum did pay half as part of one of my Christmas presents so I didn't have to pay the full amount.

They are seriously sooooooo freaking comfortable! And they have started an obsessions with Jeffrey Campbell shoes now... whoops xD

The Colour Wheel!

Hey loves! So I've mentioned on twitter and YT now that one of my fashion goals for the upcoming summer is to actually wear bright colours! Or just colour in general... Because just in case you have not noticed, I pretty much stick to black... and toned down colours like khaki, camel, burgundy, etc. Anyway, to help me do this I thought I would make myself a little project to help me!

Let me introduce, drum roll please, my colour wheel!

This is just a traditional 12 colour one that I found online. All I did was printed it out, stuck it on cardboard and there you have it!

But then of course there is the little guides that help you see which colour match! On the site I used it showed six types but I only chose the four :)

Complementary: Two colours directly opposite each other. (Example shown: red-orange & blue-green)

Split-Complementary: One base colour which goes directly opposite but uses the two colours either side of the complementary colour instead it the complementary colour itself. (Example shown: blue-violet, orange & yellow with blue-violet being the base colour!)

Triadic: Three colours split evenly around the wheel. (Example shown: violet, orange & green)

Analogous: Three colour that sit in a line/next to each other in the wheel. (Example shown: blue-violet, violet & red-violet)

It's so much fun just to play around with it and see what combinations come up! Hopefully, I'll be doing a colour blocking video once it gets warmer using the colour wheel :)

Times are just approximate because some morning I wake up at 6 or earlier and I do not time myself... :p Some morning I exercise - either jog or sit-ups :)

6.30 - Mum wakes me up with a cup of tea

6.40 - Turn hair straightener on, put on foundation & bronzer, straighten hair

7.00 - Choose & put on outfit, accessorise

7.15 - Eye make-up & hair style

7.30 - Clean up room (make bed, fix closet area, etc.), pack bag

7.40 - Have breakfast then brush teeth

7.50 - In the car and ready to go!

Hey everyone! So I got home today, walked into my room, looked at my clothing racks and thought 'Yuk, change time!'. I then proceeded to move loose things, i.e. bags, shoes, etc. I moved them all around for a while before I was happy with the finished product. After they were in place, I replaced my jewellery board with necklaces and bracelelts, arranged my boots under my dress rack and put my hats and satchels back on my coat stand!

I quite like it, for now at least. I'll probabaly come home one day soon think exactly the same thing and start to to change it. But for now, this is how it is :)

So I finished reading this book yesterday... and I'm not even kidding, it is by far my favourite book I have ever read so far! Well, except for kiddie books of course ;) 'Brown bear, brown bear. What do you see? I see a red bird looking at me!' Quality stuff hey! xD But no seriously! It's called The Book of Love and the author is Phillipa Fioretti.

Go check it out!!!!! I'm not going to tell you much about it, because I think it's better for you to just try it by yourself but it's amazing! in my opinion anyway... :)

So This was requested on my youtube by 19jade97 but as I have waaay too many videos to do at the moment so I figured i'd just do it on my blog :)

NOTE: Please excuse my hair/headband in these photos - it is not how I would style my hair for the outfits, it's just what I already had done.

So basically it's just a few ideas for a casual winter party using my black high-waist skirt from supre, which is only $15!

I went to the Salvos today with my mum, recently I have found that going thrifting is among my most favourite things to do. Which is ironic seeing as a few years ago I refused to be anywhere near one. I gave myself a limit of $20, otherwise I would of bought waaaay too much. The prices written on here add up to almost $30, but some were discounted(I have no idea which ones) so it ended up being about $21 all up :)

Hey guys! So christmas is creeping up - YAY! Super excited! :) Love the holidays! Anyway, so I thought I'd d the christmas tag! :) If you want to to dom - go ahead! :D

1. Favorite holiday destination?
I prefer staying home for christmas and beign with my family - but for other occassions somewhere close to the beach :)

2. Any family traditions?
Yeah heaps! I'm half Danish so we do all those traditions like rice pudding and stuff. I would explain it - buts its so confusing of your not use to it :p
Also - we have NEVER had a fake tree and we never will. We always get a real one :)

3. Favorite ornament of decoration?
We have little elves that we put all around our house - So I love them!
But you can't beat the christmas tree :)

4. What are you doing for the holidays?
Spending christmas with my family and spending alot of time out in the sun! :)

Heeey :)

I just got back from The Salovs(Salvation Army) and I found two really cute blazers, which my mum kindly bought for me. So I thought I'd make a post about them :)

I was lucky enough to find them in my size and both were made in Australia! Extra bonus!! Both were $6.99 each :)

The first one is a plum colour - really nice for autumn/fall. The sleeves were a weird length so i rolled them up to my elbows, which I like better anyway :)

The second is just a black one, more fitted than the first. The buttons rae like a 'stone' sort of thing, really cute :)

When routine gets too much!

I woke up this morning feeling a little down. I was just laying in bed thinking how much of a pain it is to get up every morning at the same time to get ready to go to the same place for the whole day then come home and get ready to do the same thing all over again. I really hate it.

But the thing is, I actually like school. Not just the friends part either, I like learning. It's not the school that actually annoys me, it's doing the same thing everyday!

I really hope it's not going to be like this forever. I have about 6 months left of the high school, then 2 years of college. I wonder if i'm going to feel like this in college? Who knows...

For now, I'll just keep doing the same thing in hope that one day, it'll change :)

I went vintage shopping today with bestfriend. We had so much fun finding lots of quirky pieces :)

I bought a few things but my favourite find was this chunky jumper! It's too big for me, but that's how I like it. As soon as I saw it I fell in love with it! It's not something I would usually buy put I decided what the heck :)

It's black and white with small red flowers on the front. I love the pattern and fit! It also has shoulder pads. I LOVE IT! xD

Now that it's starting to get colder here in Australia, well where I live anyway, I started missing summer. So I thought I'd make a post about a few things I love about each season. Well only really summer and winter. So here goes :)

Summer:

I love everything to do with the beach! Swimming, late night walks, beach sport, tanning, camping, everything! :)
Ice cold juices; especially watermelon & pineapple! Yum ;)
Tanning/Tanned Skin, mainly because it's natural for me. It just gets darker in summer :D
Short, flowing summer dresses!
BBQ's with family and friends.
Swimming in a pool or at the beach, during the day or at night! :D
Holidays!! :D
Party's that last all night outside!
Picnics, days spent walking in the city, summer shopping!

Winter:

Hot chocolates! ;D
Snuggling up watching TV.
Scarves, gloves, berets! :)
Having the girls over for movie nights(because it's too cold to do anything else :p)
Rain! I love the rain! :)
Layering :p
Nice, hot, vegetable soup!

Like most girls interested in fashion, I LOVE shoes. Love them. I've actually always had a thing for shoes. Even back when I didn't care about what I wore, I still cared about my shoes.

Anyway, back to the topic of this post. I have been after this certain pair of shoes since I saw another blogger/youtuber wearing ones sort of the same. Now, I did not want them because she had them. I am definately not like that.

I wanted them simply because I knew that they would become one of the main pieces in my wardrobe. They match my style perfectly and they are gorgeous! I know that not everyone likes this kind of style, but everyone's different :)

So I got these beautiful boots at Payless Shoes for $62.75!
Originally, they were priced at $89.95.

I first found these online at http://www.paylessshoes.com.au/, but when I went into my local store to try them on and hopefully purchase them; they weren't in my size! I was devestated. So since then everytime I was near a store I would go in and check, no luck.

But then on the 17th of May, my bestfriend and I were in the city and we went into payless just to try on some other shoes and OH.MY.GOD. They were there! And not only that, they were on sale! It was meant to be :D

Now, those amazing shoes are in my possession and I cannot get enough of them! :)

Doesn't it just annoy you when you're doing something you love and something goes wrong! I do!
To explain this, yesterday I was performing one of my dances and we were doing a lift. Basically two other girls are holding me up and yeah. Anyway, we've done that lift like a MILLION times, we have performed in competitions and concerts and it has never gone wrong.
But yesterday, of course something finally had to go wrong! There I was standing in their hands as comfortable as always and all of a sudden I fell! I have never fallen out of that before! I basically pulled some of my friends hair out, and pulled on the others arm to stop me from falling. Which helped, I mean I still fell but it wasn't as hard. But like you're meant to, I just got up and kept dancing staying as professional as possible.
I didn't feel injured while finishing up the dance, but guess what! Afterwards we were in the back room and I couldn't walk. I couldn't bend over. I couldn't bend down. All I could do was stand there! Something happened to my tail bone, and I have no dea what!
So today, here I am. At home, missing out on school(bummer...not), laying on the couch not moving, just reading fashion blogs, watching videos on youtube and trying not to injure myself furhter! It still hurts, so much!
I wonder when I'll be able to walk without looking like a complete idiot....Hmmm....

Okay, so today I have been watching alot, probably too many, t-shirt cutting videos on youtube. I really wanted to try it out. So I went through ALL my t-shirts(that took a while) and found some that I never wear and don't like the colour and/or shape of. So here it is, my very first attempt at cutting. It is horrible!
